Addressing Maritime Cybersecurity Risks: NUARI's Proven Solutions
On February 11, 2025, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) released a report to Congressional committees titled: "COAST GUARD: Additional Efforts Needed to Address Cybersecurity Risks to the Maritime Transportation System". The review addressed cybersecurity risks to the Maritime Transportation System (MTS), vessels, and facilities.
The GAO made five recommendations (three highlighted below), including that the Coast Guard:
