Ready for Jack Voltaic 3.0
Norwich University Applied Research Institutes (NUARI) is excited to partner with The Army Cyber Institute at West Point for the first completely virtual Jack Voltaic ™ experiment taking place on September 22nd and 24th, 2020.
Jack Voltaic 3.0 is a regionally focused exercise that will include participants from the commercial critical infrastructure arena supporting military deployment and global logistics operations.
Why is this exercise important?
Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA, are key locations that support military force projection. By conducting the Jack Voltaic™ exercise both cities have the opportunity to gain key insights and better understanding of their respective gaps in incident management for a cyber or cyber-enabled disruption or destructive event.
Jack Voltaic™ will provide a learning environment, leveraging NUARI’s DECIDE® platform.
The DECIDE Platform is engineered to power a limitless array of live exercise-based scenarios to help decision-makers in critical infrastructure and government sectors exercise their abilities to effectively prepare for and respond to cyber incidents.
A primary objective of the exercise is to reinforce a “whole of nation” approach and emphasize the importance of proper responses to physical and cyber attacks ensuring the fortitude of public services and safeguarding critical infrastructure. Additionally, this virtual “table-top” event will allow both leadership and technical teams to communicate and work within and outside their sectors.
