State of Virginia DECIDE Critical Infrastructure Exercise: National Guard Integration
The participants executed a Cyber Security Exercise on 16 April 2019 to identify gaps in response planning and execution across government both state and local with integration of the Virginia National Guard. Participants included the Virginia Department of Emergency Management, Department of Homeland Security, Virginia Department of Health, Virginia Fusion Center, Virginia State Police, Virginia National Guard, and the Virginia Defense Force.
The distributive desktop exercise was conducted using the DECIDE platform around a county cyber incident escalation scenario. The exercise resulted in identifying over 4 critical issues.
