Webinar – The First 24 Hours Crucial Decision Making During a Cyber Attack
On September 30, 2021, Norwich University Applied Research Institutes (NUARI), Innova Law Group, PLLC, and Meridian Strategic Services conducted a a joint webinar: The First 24 Hours – Crucial Decision Making During a Cyber Attack.
By now, we are familiar with headlines reporting that, yet another organization was forced to hand over millions of dollars due to a ransomware incident. A review of what happens before, during, and after a cyber-attack, should serve as a lesson to leaders regarding what TO DO and what NOT TO DO when faced with a cyber threat. Unfortunately, the lessons and best practices for responding to cyber/emergency incidents are not shared, leaving organizations vulnerable to repeating the mistakes.
The webinar was intended for executive leadership and those tasked with planning for and leading the response to cyber/emergency incidents.
Panelist:
- John Cannady – NUARI Cyber Security Advisor
- Heidi J.K. Fessler – Cyber Security and Data Privacy Attorney
- Seamus K. Leary – President of Meridian Strategic Services
Moderator:
- Jakon Hays, Strategic Communications Specialist – Norwich University Applied Research Institutes (NUARI).
